CIMT2025, themed "Convergence and Innovation, Digital and Intelligent Future", showcased cutting-edge digital and intelligent technologies. The exhibition scale set a new record, reflecting China's market appeal as the world's largest consumer (accounting for 32.5% globally) and producer of machine tools. Foreign enterprises including Japan's Shimura, South Korea's Dean, and DMG Mori Seiki showcased multiple high-end equipment and customised solutions, signalling their commitment to deepening market engagement in China. Concurrently, domestic Chinese firms presented innovative achievements: Beijing No.1 Machine Tool's "Taurus" five-axis gantry turning-milling centre achieves micrometre-level precision, while Zhejiang Bogu's ultra-precision lathe spindle rotary accuracy falls below 0.1 micrometres. Mao Yufeng, President of the China Machine Tool & Tool Builders' Association, emphasised that China's manufacturing transformation presents a definitive opportunity for the global machine tool industry. The exhibition also introduced the NC-Link interoperability protocol, enabling communication between machine tools and advancing standardisation and intelligent collaboration within the sector.
